On Saturday, September 11th, Pet Helpers is hosting the second annual Leslie McCravy Memorial 5K Run/Walk in honor of McCravy, a domestic violence victim who loved animals.

The race begins at 8 a.m. on Folly Beach at the Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier. The top 3 overall male/female and top 3 male/female age groups will be awarded with some sweet prizes like a night's stay at the Water's Edge Inn on Folly Beach, a month-long membership at Gold's Gym, gift cards to local restaurants and more.

Race applications can be found online and registration fees are $30, $15 for kids. The price includes t-shirt while supplies last.
