Tapping into the rich heritage of the Waccamaw River and the South's fascination with racing, Bucksport Plantation will play host to the ODBA Summer Nationals Drag Boat Race.

The Outboard Drag Boat Association and Bucksport Plantation have slated a three day event surrounding the ODBA Summer Nationals Drag Boat Race. Starting on Friday June 22 and carrying on through Sunday June 24, 2012, spectators can come and bask in the glory of drag boat racing on the Waccamaw. There will be live entertainment throughout the day along with food samplings from Captain Seaweed's Bar & Grill.

• 2 p.m. - Gates Open
• 2:30 – 6 p.m. - Racers Set-up, Testing & Tuning
• 6 p.m. - The Tim Clark Band

Saturday June 23, 2012

• 9 a.m. - Gates Open
• noon – 5 p.m. - ODBA Drag Racing
• 6 p.m. - Tru Sol

 Sunday June 24, 202

• 9 a.m. - Gates Open
• noon – 5 p.m. - ODBA Drag Racing
• 6 p.m. - After Glow Party with Buck Cody and the Super Pickers
