Charleston events for May 29, 2008
There are a couple of really great charity events tonight that you might considering getting involved in.
First up, the I'On Girls Night Out, which benefits abused and neglected orphans in the Lowcountry. It takes place at Sweet Olive in Mount Pleasant and features many local merchants and designers.
Then there's the Terrace Theater's premiere of "Bra Boys," a documentary about the Australian surfing community, narrated by Russell Crowe. All proceeds from that event will go toward Kids on Boards, which works to send underprivileged kids to local surf camps.
So if you don't already have Spoleto plans, you might consider one of those options.
