A big night out for women in the Lowcountry is planned for Thursday, May 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will be held at Sweet Olive (map), a specialty store featuring lush plants and unique accessories for the garden and home, as well as gifts for baby, pet and hostess. Located in the heart of I'On at 264 N. Shelmore Blvd., this event will be an opportunity for local merchants and designers to unite for the benefit of abused and neglected children in the lowcountry. Crushed Fine Wine, a local wine boutique, will provide wine tasting. Two local fashion designers will host a Trunk Show featuring their summer collections. Jewelry designer Susan Hauser will be highlighting BIJOUX!, a new 14kg collection of exquisite and timeless pieces.
Candace Romeo, a high-end handbag and accessories designer, will have her trés chic handbag collection of Italian leathers, as well as exotic skins and hairs from around the world. Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Inc., who provides abused and neglected children with necessities such as underwear, socks, clothing, toiletries, books and school supplies, will receive 10 percent of sales for the evening.
