Mass food distribution planned in Surfside Beach

As a part of The United Way's 13th Annual Day of Caring, the Lowcountry Food Bank will be sponsoring a mass food distribution at The Church of The Resurrection in Surfside Beach on September 14, 2012 from 1 - 3 p.m.

Boxes of food will be given to 200 families on a first come, first served basis. Benefit Bank Counselors and representatives from Mercy Care will be on-site for assistance and information. Licensed cosmetologists will also be available to provide free haircuts and refreshments will be served while you wait.
