20 years after Hugo, South Carolina has changed a lot

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the "OMG, Hurricane Hugo was X years ago" stories, but a series of articles by The State stuck me as they also show just how much South Carolina has changed during the last 20 years.

Hugo hit on September 22, 1989, and since then South Carolina's population, home values, tourism spending, and many other statistics have jumped lightning fast -- in some cases outright doubling or more.

So hop on over to The State for a nice retrospective -- be sure to note the links to additional stories in the box next to their story.
