Local restaurants making the effort to go green

In preparations for the grand opening in around a month, W.O.K. (World Oriental Kitchen) founder, Nick Bergelt, isn't cutting any corners in making his new restaurant as eco-friendly as possible.

Part of the Rev LLC restaurant group which includes Taco Boy, Monza, and Poe's Tavern - the goal is to make the King Street restaurant super energy efficient and recycling-friendly.

Luckily, W.O.K. isn't the only Charleston restaurant taking steps toward going green.
