Two local chefs of note, Brett McKee and Steve Palmer, have teamed up at 17 North Roadside Kitchen in attempt pull off a dining event that's a bit more country yet refined. 

Deidre Schipani dropped by to check the mixed dining spot out for Preview and came back, well, thinking it's a bit of a mixed bag. Check out the review here.

All in all, it's a similar vibe that we saw in the Charleston City Paper's review a couple weeks back about the spot that opened in November. However, in the turbulent world of online reviews, the restaurant has fared fairly well getting 88% at Urbanspoon.
