Banh mi, pho, steam buns: CO Restaurant offers easy access to tasty Vietnamese classics
Revamping the space and setting up shop in the old Teavana location at 340 King Street, CO Restaurant has finally brought a way to get pho, steam buns, and banh mi during regular hours to downtown Charleston.
Writing for the Charleston City Paper, Robert Moss made a recent visit and generally digs the food and vibe — take a read of his review over here.
Online reviews have been solid, too. A similar vibe carrying through as with Moss' piece, as Doug W. puts it on Yelp:
Everything considered, this place is good, and convenient on King St. It is definitely better than Autobanh, but I still like Street Hero's banh mi better. ... I went there was to try their banh mi. I had it with pork. Overall the sandwich was good. I was very surprised, however, at how small the sandwich was. For $7, I would have expected a larger size.
