2009 CNN Hero Doc Hendley who is the Founder and President of Wine to Water is to attend the nonprofit's local fundraiser.  Wine to Water is based out of Boone North Carolina, and strives to bring clean water and sanitation to countries all over the globe.  Operating since 2004, nine countries have benefitted from Wine to Water's efforts.

The organization's Director of Events Chelsea Small is a former Charleston resident of eleven years, and is excited to create awareness for the organization in Charleston again this year. "As we continue to grow, we hope to increase support in the Lowcountry.  This is an area that has been a great place for us to have events because the community has embraced our vision and mission to provide clean water to those who need it most just by having a glass of wine," explains Small.

With bubbles, beer, food and of course wine avilable for guests, there will also be a number of silent auction items available for persuing.  Tickets for the event are $20 and are available at Brown Paper Tickets until July 19th.  Tickets will be available at the door of the event, but are cash only.
