The Melting Pot, a long time Myrtle Beach staple in romantic dining, made OpenTable, Inc's list of the Diners' Choice Awards for the top 100 best restaurants in the United States

OpenTable.com has been around since 1998, however in the last few years the service has really come to life as a mobile application where users can seek out restaurants in almost any area, make reservations right in the app, and review their favorite (or least favorite) dining establishments. The list is based on, " feedback collected from OpenTable diners between December 2010 and November 2011."

"The restaurants on this list are wonderfully varied, but they have one overwhelming quality in common – each establishment is taking every opportunity to deliver a superb dining experience," says Caroline Potter, OpenTable's Chief Dining Officer. "Quality and consistency in the food, service and setting are the hallmarks of the very best restaurants, and all three elements can be found in abundance by diners visiting any of these honorees."

The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant that offers both savory and sweet selections all during the same visit, it's a "four-course dining experience" where diners are treated with a fine dining atmosphere that won't necessarily break the bank.

Congratulations to The Melting Pot for making OpenTable's user driven 100 best restaurants in the U.S. list, to read the press release hop on over to PRnewswire.com and check out the full list of winning restaurants right Here
