Updates are at the bottom:

Meet CHSBeer.org: brew-child of Charleston beer know-it-all Timmons Pettigrew and web-photo-video guru Chrys Rynearson.

The site aims to be a, "one-stop shop for locals and visitors to get a handle on all things beery in the Lowcountry."

Here's six things you can do with CHSBeer.

The site is new and pretty straightforward, so if you love beer and Charleston: go to CHSBeer.org

Disclaimer: Yes, Pettigrew is a regular contributor to this site. And if you think it's earned preferential treatment, know that you can contribute and edit all you like through the Open Community.

Update March 22: Been keeping up with CHSBeer.org? Good!

For those of you who haven't (or those of you who haven't today), we highly recommend popping over and checking out the first two installments to their Beerfolk video series. What is Beerfolk all about, you ask? Well, this, according to Timmons:

Our aim is to interview all the Beerfolk in town, helping to put faces and names to our craft beer-friendly Places, and giving you a chance to hear their approach in their own voice. This should also help you quickly pinpoint who to harass with unreasonable demands when visiting said Places.

The first two interviewees are brothers Ben and Aaron Lucas. Aaron is the Beverage Director at Closed for Business and Ben works there as a bartender.
