As February is now well underway, there are many noteworthy activies happening throughout the Lowcountry in acknowledgement of Black History Month.
Whether a photography tour or an African Mask Making workshop, there are multiple ways to get involved in the celebration.
On Tuesday, February 5, as part of the Palmetto Archaeology Lecture Series, Archaeologist Andrew Agha will explain an overview of themes within African American archaeology. The lecture will take place at 6 p.m. at the Charleston County Public Library and admission is free.
Check out a more expansive list of activites in both of these articles from The Post and Courier.
