The Charleston RiverDogs have always done their part to support and honor our current and former military veterans, so it should come as no surprise that they will be continuing that tradition this season.

The organization will offer military personnel $5 tickets all season long and will once again offer their General Dynamics Land Systems-Force Protection Red Shirt Friday promotion. All fans who wear red shirts Friday home games will save $1 off the purchase of their ticket at the box office. That dollar can then be donated to the Carolina Canines charity, a local group which works with military prisoners at the Naval Consolidated Brig in Charleston and teaches them how to train rescue dogs as service animals for wounded and injured veterans.
