City's efforts to control rose peddlers nets award

It looks like the city's controversial plan to force local palmetto rose peddlers into entrepreneur classes is winning some real praise.
So, much so that that the city has netted a prestigious livability award -- The Post and Courier has that story.
But the true measure of success won't come from quieter streets and awards, but whether any of these class takers are owners of thriving businesses in a decade.
And, last year we saw the first hints that business success could follow in the wake of the program.
