First Report: A mystery group of investors presented their plans for an oceanfront restaurant last week to the City of Myrtle Beach Community Appearance Board (CAB). Among the plans were building a small city park and extending the boardwalk to the restaurant.

159 Myrtle Beach Restaurant News has more details about the proposed building, restaurant, and the CAB meeting. Read that here.

The lot they are proposing to build on is adjacent to the Yachtsman Resort where the boardwalk currently stops. The problem with extending the boardwalk and building a park is someone has to pay for it. According to Myrtle Beach officials, they can't afford it. The Sun News has more details including who is being foreclosed upon for the property and more details about the expansion proposal. Read that here.
