Hotel occupancy rate climbs for third straight month

According to the College of Charleston’s Office of Tourism Analysis, hotel occupancy rate has risen in Charleston for the third straight month in a row.
Hotel occupancy was at 77% in May with an average daily rate of $125.17 - that's an 11% increase in occupancy and a 1.7% drop in price from May of 2009.
