Ladson man suspect in killing of S.C. doctor before fleeing to South America

The Post and Courier's Glenn Smith offers a summation of what little is known in a bizarre tale of the alleged murder of Myrtle Beach pediatrician Franchesca Brown by her on-again off-again boyfriend John Meredith Hodges of Ladson.
Hodges is accused of meeting up with Brown at a Kansas conference, killing Brown, and then fleeing to Colombia, South America.
