Four men were wounded in a barrage of gunfire that erupted last night outside of 1026 Seaside Lane on James Island.

Investigators are still trying to determine a motive for the shootings and exactly how many shots were fired, but The Post and Courier reports that there were at least 14 evidence markers on the road and half a dozen shell casings.

Information such as ages, names and or the severity of the victims' wounds have not been released except for one man, who took six bullet to his body and is listed in critical condition. Interestingly enough, the area in front of the Seaside Lane home has been the site of another shooting that took place just this year.

Check out The Post and Courier's write-up for more on last night's gun battle.
