Update October 17: Sounds like police are keeping quiet on just what was sent pending a criminal investigation; The Post and Courier has a report on what's up.

First reporting October 13: Sgt. Brian Kale of Folly Beach has been fired following accusations that he used his position to get the cell phone number women he met while on patrol and later texted and picture messaged the women.

ABC News 4 has a nice video report you can see here, and The Post and Courier has a nice brief.
