Isaac Collington, the "singing busser" who entertained diners at The Filling Station as he cleared and cleaned tables, has found a new gig at Big Daddy's Roadhouse Grill in Myrtle Beach.
Good music and good food often go hand in hand. And over the last 30 years Covington has become a local fixture, wowing diners with renditions of popular and spiritual songs as he gracefully clears away dishes and wipes off tabletops.
Becky Billingsly over at Myrtle Beach Restaurant News has a wonderful interview and write-up of "the singing busser" in his new home, Big Daddy's Roadhouse Grill, which hired Covington after The Filling Station changed hands and eventually closed.
Isaac Covington seems to be popular enough to elicit multiple fans to take and post videos to YouTube, where he shows off his table and singing skills. When fans said he was one of the fastest bussers they've seen, they weren't kidding! Videos of Covington and a map to Big Daddy's are below:
