Conway Medical Center and Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Peter Ramsey, have announced they are the first in the region to offer the Anterior Hip Replacement approach. 

With the anterior approach to hip replacement, patients typically are allowed to bend their hip freely immediately after surgery, lean forward to get dressed, tie their shoes, sit on lower surfaces and walk with minimal assistance.  All of this means recovery is potentially quicker and easier; in fact most patients will feel ready to go home to continue their recovery after only one or two nights in the hospital.  For more information, call 347-8108.
