Roper St. Francis Healthcare's brand new Mount Pleasant Hospital opens today for the very first time.

The $180 million, three-floor facility houses four state-of-the-art operating rooms, a nursery, 85 beds, 12 emergency rooms, 10 intensive care units, 25 pre- and post-operating rooms and 275 employees.
