With a record high, the heat is back

Update April 3: Yep, not only was it hot, it was officially hot.
Monday's high of 91 bested the 2006 high of 90 set at the airport.
However, down in Savannah the record high of 91 set in 1940 held against yesterday's high of 90.
First reporting: It's been a rather warm start to 2012, but wether you're ready or not, we're due to hit the 90 degree mark.
Look for us to hit the high near 3 p.m. and a temperature close to 80 at sunset.
Oh, and today's warm start is expected to be followed up by more mild highs near 80, but the rest of the week will also bring solid chances of thunderstorms.
