With all the hubbub about Obama and an expansion in offshore drilling, the Charleston City Paper's Greg Hambrick wisely took a few moments to remind that even with permission, there's little to drill for off South Carolina's coast; read his piece here.

Yes, there's likely little oil off our coast and while there's possibly some natural gas there's not too much interest in finding more sources of that fossil fuel.
