South Carolina will work faster to enroll poor children in a free health care program, after state Democrats were furious that the $24 million program was only at 13% capacity.
The program targets families that have an income of up to twice the federal poverty level (a single parent with one child would need to make $28,000 or less to utilize the program).
Hop over to the program's Web page for more info on the program and enrolling. And go to The Post and Courier for more about what the state is going to do to get more folks signed up.
