Sanford rails on Legislature for costly security upgrades

Update November 25: Perhaps in a final verdict, Gov. Mark Sanford has ordered state police to stop staffing some of the $6 million system's checkpoints.

Original post: Governor Mark Sanford is calling the legislature our for the millions it spent on security upgrades to the Statehouse, saying that it was that kind of frivolous spending that got the state into its current budget crunch.
