Sanford's future hangs with ethics findings

Despite his own party now pushing for him to go, Gov. Mark Sanford has remained just as resolute about staying in office.

And that's why the man's fate increasingly hangs with what the State Ethics Commission decides. A decision against Sanford would provide much legal leverage in the battle to the oust the man, and The Post and Courier has a column that it's only fair to wait until the mid-October ruling.
