Simon Ndirangu of Kenya won the male elite division of the Cooper River Bridge Run in 28:05 and Hiwott Aliyu of Ethiopia won the female division in 32:17.

While this year's run complaint's will likely pale compared to the 2012 delays, runners were still having trouble finding buses to get to the start line.
