AAST receives federal grant that will also benefit Horry County Schools

The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Education grants will provide the opportunity to train teachers and create advanced placement courses for Horry County Schools.
The initiative seeks to prepare students for jobs of the future by giving them early access to advanced programs. Vicki Grooms of The Sun News has more details on the grant and how Horry County Schools plans to use it. Read it here.
