Parts of downtown Charleston were inundated by flood waters from last night's downpour.
Count On 2 News has footage of drivers trying to pass through well over a foot of water water at the intersection of King and Huger streets last night. Some succeeded while others stalled out.
Live 5 News has some photographs depicting the rain's wrath on the Crosstown, America Street and Bee Street.
It looks like we've handled all of the major rains this week, with the National Weather Service forecasting just slight chance of showers today and this evening. The weekend is looking bright, sunny, and mild with the average temperature for the weekend rounding out 78 degrees.
