Heist, Heist Baby presented by Black Fedroa Comedy Mystery Theatre
Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theatre, the Lowcountry’s premier comic-mystery entertainers, will present the North Charleston Arts Festival’s annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 8, 2014. The highly interactive production, titled Heist, Heist Baby, is a comic whodunit recommended for heist fans and adults out on the town. The dinner buffet, catered by Centerplate, includes garden salad, herb-baked chicken, roasted red potatoes, a seasoned vegetable medley, rolls, and chef’s choice of dessert. Tickets are on sale until Tuesday, May 6.
Heist, Heist Baby is Black Fedora’s newest original production. Patrons will find that little is as it seems in this corny comic stage caper, which follows a priest, a rabbi, and a clown as they walk into a bank. The challenge will be in keeping up with the number of criminals, corpses, classic cinema references, and crazy cast of characters in order to solve the mystery. Volunteer to play a role, or just sit back and try to crack the case. A proven hit with downtown Charleston audiences, Heist, Heist Baby is sure to leave the North Charleston Arts Festival crowd in stiches.
Heist, Heist Baby will be presented at Montague Terrace at the North Charleston Coliseum, located at 5001 Coliseum Drive in North Charleston. Doors open at 7:00pm for dinner. Tickets are $40 per person, with group discounts available. Ticket price includes dinner, play, and gratuity. Parking is free. A cash bar will be available. Seating is limited. To purchase tickets by Tuesday, May 6, contact Pam Smith with the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts Department at 843-740-5847.
