Sticks and Stones
Told in Porkchop Production’s signature whimsical style, Sticks and Stones is a light-hearted romp through a very serious epidemic children are facing everyday - bullying.  The original production addresses the major steps to implement when confronted with a bully.  Audiences will learn about how to recognize a bully, non-aggressive methods of confrontation, telling versus tattling, finding humor in the face of adversity, self-confidence, and more. Porkchop Productions has worked with several community and state organizations in North and South Carolina to design an effective and comprehensive performance that will inspire, educate, and entertain audiences of all ages.

Porkchop Productions is a professional theatre company dedicated to expanding artistic horizons by providing professional interactive theatre for young people and promoting a life-long appreciation for the performing arts.  Specializing in audience participation, their performances feature familiar tales told with a modern twist.  Performances are designed in accordance with ELA standards and include creative problem solving, character development and assessment, and provide academic rigor through higher order thinking skills.  Porkchop Productions has performed extensively for schools, libraries, youth groups and special events throughout the southeast including Dare Days in Manteo, NC, Europa Cruise Lines in Key West, FL, and Piccolo Spoleto in Charleston, SC.
