If you've wondered what's next for Gov. Mark Sanford's political ambitions now that his stimulus challenge has largely failed, then check out this piece by The Post and Courier's Robert Behre.

Still even if we all hate the man now, if Obama's policies turn out to be a huge bust we might all turn to Sanford as the hero we wouldn't let ourselves listen to.

Still, there's been a lot of talk about how the ruling shows just how weak our executive branch is in South Carolina. It's something The State has dabbled about.
