Single Barrel; Double the Flavor at the Old Village Post House Dinner

Sometimes one barrel is better! The Old Village Post House will be celebrating some of the finest single barrel bourbons available on Thursday, February 21 at 6:30 pm.  Bourbons will include Maverick Southern Kitchen Private Label Bourbon, Bernheim Original Small Batch Wheat Whiskey, Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon, Larceny Very Special Small Batch and Rittenhouse Straight Rye 100 Proof.

 

Chef de Cuisine Forrest Parker used his professional (and personal) bourbon tasting experiences to create a wonderful five-course menu to be paired with the featured Bourbons, which includes Cane Syrup Glazed Chicken Wing, Boiled Peanut Soup, Bourbon-Sorghum Glazed Duck and English Cut of Roast Prime Rib of Beef.  View full Bourbon Dinner Menu.  

 

The bourbons are provided by Heaven Hill Distilleries, one of America’s largest independent family-owned and operated distilled spirits company. Single Barrel Bourbona term that describes a premium class of bourbon whisky in which each bottle comes from an individual aging barrel, instead of being created by blending together the contents of various barrels to provide uniformity of color and taste.

 

The dinner is $55 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made calling 843-388-8935. Online reservations are not accepted at this time.
