The College of Charleston men's basketball team (6-3, 2-0) is off to a perfect 2-0 start to Southern Conference play as they rolled past Georgia Southern, 92-84 on Saturday night.

In addition to the win, senior Donavan Monroe scored a career-high 30 points and recorded his 1,000th career point.

The Cougars will return to action with a Tuesday, December 7th non-conference matchup versus East Tennessee State at 7 p.m. at Carolina First Arena. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling (843) 953-2632.
