The Citadel's Asher Wojciechowski and Matt Talley have both been selected to play ball in the big leagues.

Wojciechowski was picked 41st overall in the supplemental first round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday evening while Matt Talley was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 25th round as the 751st overall pick on Tuesday.

Wojciechowski is the reigning Soutern Conference Pitcher of the Year and has become the highest draft pick in the history of The Citadel baseball program. Talley, also a pitcher, has a career record of 18-8 and an ERA of 4.09 with 163 punch-outs in 218.0 innings pitched.
