In a game with a much lower score than expected, the Gamecocks emerged victorious over North Carolina State with a 7-3 score.

And the lesson seems to be that USC's offensive team needs a good bit of work, but so far, so good on defense.

USC's next game is Saturday, September 12, at Georgia.

If you're a Charleston Southern fan, they kick off on Saturday the 5th at Florida, while Clemson also kicks off on Saturday at home against Middle Tennessee.
