First reporting: On Wednesday afternoon the Charleston RiverDogs defeated the Lexington Legends 9-4 on the road marking their tenth victory in a row.

The streak is their longest since they won 10 in a row during the 2000 season and puts their record at a South Atlantic League best 15-3.

Update April 27: The first place Charleston RiverDogs (15-4) came up short in their attempt to extend their win streak to 11 games with a 5-2 loss to the Lexington Legends (9-12) on Thursday.

Charleston leads the series 2-1 with the finale coming up on Friday evening.
