Slow Food comes to Charleston

Slow Food came to Charleston yesterday -- no, it's a not a restaurant where the service takes a long time, but instead a non-profit organization that connects people and food.

"Slow Food envisions a world in which all people can eat food that is good for them, good for the people who grow it, and good for the planet—in essence, food that is good, clean, and fair."

The Glass Onion in West Ashley on Sunday afternoon was host to the pot-luck event, and there were plenty of tasty dishes in evidence.
