Myrtle Beach High to expand school’s technology program

Jacob Jernigan huddled with his classmates around a laptop as they worked on a sketch for the slowest moving roller coaster.

The high school freshmen had been divided into teams and tasked with designing the structure Tuesday, using quadratic expressions, energy transformations and other calculations.
