Horry County Schools students – and a lot of their parents – can breathe a sign of relief because they won’t have to make up more than two days of all the instructional time missed during two ice storms that recently hit the area.

The Horry County school board voted unanimously Monday night to forgive the remaining five days missed at schools in the Aynor and Green Sea Floyds attendance areas and the remaining four days missed at schools in the rest of the district.
