A look at US Sen. Tim Scott and his challengers

Tim Scott was appointed by Nikki Haley to fill Jim DeMint's vacated Senate seat back in December 2012. Scott now faces an election for the first time to keep his seat in Washington, but the challengers look to be political light weights and lacking the war chest of money that is in Scott's camp. Senator Scott has challengers from the Republican party, the Democratic Party and the newly created American Party. In the mix is Myrtle Beach area disgraced lawyer and bad commercial star Harry Pavilack
