Winning lottery ticket for Thanksgiving Day drawing sold in Myrtle Beach

Someone who bought a ticket in Myrtle Beach won $200,000 in the Thanksgiving Day lottery drawing, according to South Carolina Education Lottery officials.

The ticket was sold for Thursday’s Palmetto Cash 5 drawing at the Murphy USA No. 5731 at 10826 Kings Road in Myrtle Beach, according to officials.

The Palmetto Cash 5 ticket for Thursday’s drawing matched all five numbers drawn to win the $100,000 top prize, but the ticket holder “Powered-Up” for an additional $1 and the $100,000 top prize was doubled to $200,000.
