The Sweet Grass Music Festival will take place at Patriots Point on Saturday, March 16.

This year's festival is featuring several critically acclaimed artists, including Grammy award winner Rhonda Vincent and seven-time International Bluegrass Music Association male vocal group of the year Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out. 

Other performers include Balsam Range, Sierra Hull and Nothin' Fancy. 

The festival will begin at 9 a.m. with the inaugural Sweet Grass 5K run/walk and will be followed by recognition of the top-finishing runners and musical performances until about 10 p.m. Futher scheduling details can be found here.

Also, on Sunday, March 17, Balsam Range will perform a benefit concert at the Seacoast Church in Mount Pleasant. Proceeds will go to support the A21 Campaign.

Tickets to the festival are $25 online ($30 at Patriots Point) and can be purchased here. Admission to the Sunday concert is $10 and tickets can be found in the same place.
