Increase in for-profit clothing donation boxes worries
The Salvation Army, Goodwill, and other area non-profits are concerned that the increase in anonymous clothing and shoe collection boxes will confuse locals looking to help out those in need.

NMB donates surplus equipment to help community
The North Myrtle Beach Publiic Safety Department is donating eight surplus laptops and 30 bicycles to the Loris Police Department and North Strand Helping Hand. The laptops are being upgraded and the bicycles were likely stolen.
