Summer Scribes: Beaufort writing classes for 6th, 7th and 8th graders

Do you know a 6th to 8th grader who likes to write?

Beaufort writer Katherine Tandy Brown is again offering a three-day summer writing class based on Natalie Goldberg's classic Writing Down the Bones. This time-tested method furthers writing skills, encourages creativity and is pure fun!

Choose either of two weeks:

1) Monday July 16, Wed. July 18, and Fri. July 20; OR
2) Wed. August 1, Thurs. August 2, and Fri. August 3

Both series take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. upstairs at the Charles Street Gallery (914 Charles St.) in Beaufort on the corner of Charles and Greene Sts.

Class size is limited to 5 students to assure individual attention. Cost for the workshop is $65.

Katherine Tandy Brown has been a successful freelance writer for 22 years, and is a writing workshop leader and writing coach. She also teaches writing classes in the OLLI program at USCB and in Continuing Ed. at Technical College of the Lowcountry.
