'The Little House' saves a piece of Gullah history in the Lowcountry

This past fall and winter, a team of volunteers rallied alongside the Gullah Museum of Hilton Head to save a tiny decaying house from the 1930s.

Dubbed "The Little House," it was one of many disappearing icons of the Gullah way of life in the Lowcountry. But through hard work, the house is now restored and should last decades more.

Head on over to the Gullah Musuem for a bit of history on the building, and check out WSAV's video of the repaired building.
