A domestic dispute ended with 43-year-old Gennece Green fatally stabbing her brother, Desmond Holmes, 35, on St. Helena Island Friday night around 8.

Green has not been charged in Holmes due to details surrounding the altercation that police have yet to elaborate on.

Update August 8: Green has still has not been charged in the fatal stabbing of her brother, Desmond Holmes.

A police report has been released that details an argument and several bruises on Green — Holmes had allegedly repeatedly struck Green before the stabbing.
