Jermaine Bernard Butler

A Beaufort man is wanted on suspicion of breaking into a car on Hilton Head last month.

The The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is looking for 20-year old Jermaine Bernard Butler, III who is currently wanted on one count of Breaking into a Motor Vehicle.

Police say Butler has been identified as the individual seen breaking into a car at 10 Humane Way on the morning of July 22.

A deputy noticed Butler inside the vehicle when the car’s alarm was activated. Butler immediately fled upon the deputy’s arrival, and has since remained at large.

Butler is a black male, approximately 6’0”, 145 lbs with a shaved head. His last known address is Carolyn Drive in Beaufort.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jermaine Bernard Butler, III to contact the Beaufort County Dispatch Center at 843-524-2777.
